The CardioPulmonary Rehabilitation department at Perkins County Health Services is celebrating Pulmonary Rehab Week this week, Mar. 9-13, following the theme “Pulmonary Rehabilitation: A Breath Away from Better Health”. Pulmonary Rehab is an individualized exercise and education program designed to help improve the quality of life for those affected by lung diseases such as COPD, Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis, Sarcoidosis, Pulmonary Hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Interstitial lung disease, Lung cancer and Lung Transplant. To see if you qualify, contact your Primary Care Provider for a referral. Perkins County commissioners made it official by passing a motion at their March 2 meeting to notify Keith County they would not be renewing the communications center contract.
