VFW earns state recognition PDF Print E-mail

 

Walter ‘Bed’ Sauer of Ogallala (left) was presented a certificate by VFW Post Commander Gary Bush for being named the VFW State Volunteer of the Year during the state convention, held June 5-8 in Norfolk.

 

 

Retired state patrol Troop D captain, Jim Parrish, left, and Boy Scout Jerry Mull of Brady were recognized as the VFW state law enforcement officer of the year and scout of the year, respectively, during the VFW convention June 5-8 in Norfolk and are pictured with VFW Post 3755 Commander Gary Bush.


 

Local commander Gary Bush (left) was reunited with fellow soldier Michael Moos, who Bush served with in the Navy in the late 1960s.
