Vlasin earns football honors PDF Print E-mail

When Brett Vlasin graduates from Wray, Colo. High School, he will do so as the holder of one defensive and seven offensive school football records as well as being a three sport letterman (football, basketball, baseball).
As a quarterback and defensive back, Vlasin also helped his team to four consecutive state playoff appearances including a runner up finish in 2010.
His records include marks for touchdowns (43), total offense (2,627), completion percentage (56) and interceptions made (11) as well as single season bests for touchdowns (28), total offense (2,138) and completion percentage (58).
Vlasin, a four year letterman and three year starter, earned two all conference honors, was a Denver Post All State selection and was the North Central Conference Player of the Year as a senior.
“Brett’s accomplishments on the field are well documented,” said Wray Coach Levi Kramer. “But his dedication to the classroom, extracurricular activities, the community and his teammates are truly what makes him a special young man.”
Brett is the son of Mike and Peg Vlasin of Wray and the grandson and Dean and Dorothy Milner of Imperial and Bonnie Yost of Wauneta. Wray Coach Levi Kramer is the son of Bruce and Kathy Kramer of Wauneta.
