|Ross participates in state golf tournament|
Junior Plainsman golfer Ben Ross participated in the state golf tournament in Kearney on Tuesday, May 25.
With a score of 96-92—188, Ross finished in 79th in a field of 95 golfers in Class C.
The gold went to Reid Wiebe of Sutton, who scored 142.
Sutton as a team placed first, with a score of 624. Fremont-Bergen was second with 627 and Kimball third with 631.
Other top 15 finishers were Kearney-Catholic, Hartington CC, Norfolk Catholic, Logan View, Lincoln Lutheran, Hastings St. Cecilia, Gibbon, Columbus Scotus, Norfolk Lutheran NE, Gordon-Rushville, West Point-Beemer and Bridgeport.
