Hagan is winner of annual sorority scholarship PDF Print E-mail

Erik Hagan was selected as the recipient of the Beta Sigma Phi annual scholarship.

Hagan, a 2010 graduate of Perkins County High School, is the son of Mike and LuRae Hagan of rural Grant.

Hagan has excelled in academics, sports, other school activities and has participated in community service throughout his years at PCHS. 

He has been a participant in high school football, basketball, track and golf, and has been involved in recreational soccer for 11 years.

He was a band member, taking part in jazz, concert and marching bands.

In drama, Hagan has participated in musicals, one act plays, spring plays and competitive speech.

He held the class offices of secretary and treasurer.

He is a member of National Honor Society and was a Boys State participant.

In community service, Hagan has been active in Interact, Perkins County Youth Council, has coached youth basketball and soccer, refereed soccer and is a member of the United Methodist youth group.

He has worked for the family farm and owns 10 head of cattle which he manages himself.

After graduation Hagan plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and study for a career in radiology.
