Beau Wood, wrestling in a mask to protect a broken nose he suffered on Dec. 9, pins one of five opponents at the Medicine Valley Invite to claim the gold and remain undefeated at 24-0.
The Perkins County wrestlers had back-to-back wrestling invites on Friday and Saturday last week. The first took place in Curtis at Medicine Valley and the second at Doniphan-Trumbull.
Wallace continued RPAC conference tournament play last Tuesday when they traveled to Maxwell to compete against the top seeded Paxton Tigers.
The Wallace Lady Wildcats suffered a tough loss on Wednesday, Jan. 24 against the Paxton Tigers in the second round of RPAC.
