Couples championship held at Pheasant Run

Giz and Jorje Geisert and Ben Jones and Andrea Yates were the winners of the Pheasant Run Golf Course Couples Club Championship on Saturday, Sept. 16.

The seven teams were greeted with pleasant weather for the two-person scramble. 

Team Geisert scored a 75 to take first place in the senior division (50 and older.) Jones and Yates tied with another team in the under 50 division, capturing the title by scorecard playoff.

Each team received a trophy, and a perpetual plaque with their names will be displayed in the clubhouse. 

Other teams included Ryan and Michaela Potts, Jayson and Deanne Bishop, Bill and Cindy Bardsley and Kent and Rhonda Kroeker.

Participants enjoyed a potluck dinner following the tournament.
