Evelyn was blessed to be a wife and stay at home mom for many years. She loved being a wife and mother. She was blessed when she became a grandmother as well as a great grandmother.

Evelyn was asked to start early childhood education in Grainton, Hayes Center, and Wauneta. She became well known with Peter Rabbit Preschool, where she taught for 31 years.

Evelyn served her Lord with all of her heart. She taught and directed vacation bible schools, directed youth choirs, and taught many Sunday school classes. Evelyn always loved to sing.
