Foundation Fund planning mini-celebrations

It’s time to celebrate!

The Perkins County Community Foundation Fund wants Perkins County residents to join them in celebrating a successful campaign that added nearly $190,000 to the fund’s unrestricted endowment. 

A long list of donors helped the fund meet a $100,000 challenge that was matched by $50,000 from an anonymous donor. In addition, another anonymous $15,000 challenge grant was met by the Dec. 31, 2019 deadline. 

To show their appreciation, PCCFF will hold mini-celebrations around the county. 

The first will be held Sunday, Jan. 26, 1 p.m. at the Grant Senior Center. 

On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Little Country Kitchen in Madrid will serve as host for the 7:30 a.m. event. 

The Elsie celebration will follow the same day at 9 a.m. at the Hi-Line Co-op. 

Lunch will be served Thursday, Jan. 30 at Middle of Nowhere Bar & Grill in Venango, 11:30 p.m. RSVP requested by Wednesday, Jan. 29 by calling 308-447-5590.
