Chamber planning annual Trick or Treat Street
Halloween is right around the corner, and soon Central Avenue will be the host of children dressed up for the spooky Thursday night when the Perkins County Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Trick or Treat Street.
The event which allows children to visit local businesses to get their fill of candy will take place on Oct. 31 from 4-5 p.m.
Off the main Path
Other businesses around town will participate in Trick or Treat Street as well. Westview Retirement Community will host their event from 4-6 p.m., and Golden Ours Convalescent Home at Perkins County Health Services will be providing treats for kids from 4-5:30 p.m.
The Perkins County Senior Center will have a costume contest with their family bingo night on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Cards cost 25 cents per game and popcorn and drinks will be available. There will be prizes for the best adult and children’s costumes.
