$10,000 raised for aquatic center

The March 23-25 production of “You Can’t Beat the House” raised $10,000 for the Perkins County aquatic center, with a total of 295 attending the production. The comedy and cast of 10 kept audience members laughing, as in the scene above, when Fern (Julie Sestak) tumbles over the couch during a panic attack while (l-r): Brittany (Jana Turner), Lillian (Adair Reese), Fern’s son Officer Milo (Brandon Lehl) and Madame Zenobia (Alyson Carlson) watch in dismay and amusement. Other cast members included Ben Polson, Mark Hunter, Phillip Picquet, Shar Hansen and Nora Jameson. Director was Sally Shiers.
