Harchelroad Motors sponsoring FFA scholarships

Harchelroad Motors in Imperial and Wauneta is sponsoring 10 scholarships valuing $1,000 each through the National FFA Scholarship program.

These scholarships will provide financial aid to FFA members attending to four year colleges. 

Scholarships are available to students at the following schools: two to Chase County Schools, Wauneta Public Schools, Dundy County School, Hayes Center Schools, Perkins County Schools, Wallace Public Schools, Haxtun and Holyoke Schools in Colorado and Rawlins County School in Kansas.

“In the classroom or on the field, Harchelroad Motors is proud to support the future innovators of agriculture,” said Sid Harchelroad, CEO.

This year, 1,888 scholarships worth more than $2.7 million were awarded to FFA members through the National FFA Scholarship program, with more than 115 sponsors participating. More than 8,000 students applied. 

Scholarship applications are available online Nov. 15 through Feb. 1, 2018 at www.FFA.org/Scholarships.

The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth and career success training through agricultural education to 649,355 student members who belong to one of 7,859 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
