Madrid fire claims temporary home

A fire at 109 S Hardy Ave. in Madrid destroyed a camper trailer and all its contents on Monday, Aug. 21.

According to Madrid Fire Chief Mike Lee, the camper had been serving as a temporary residence while the home on the property was being remodeled.
