Perkins County senior Claire Maaliao was the top scorer for the Lady Plainsmen this season with a total of 110 points. She shot 51 percent at the free throw line, making 27 of 53. Maaliao also led the team in 3-point field goals, as well as steals.
Lady Plainsmen end season in first round of sub-districts

On Tuesday, Feb. 14, the Perkins County Lady Plainsmen traveled to Sidney to take on the Hemingford Bobcats in the first round of subdistricts.
The no. 1 seeded Bobcats rolled over the no. 4 seeded PC 65-16.
Hemingford went on to play Kimball and beat them 63-34 and will continue on to districts.
