Marcia Shalla (right) and Melissa Wilson (center) are sworn in by Perkins County Health Services Legal Counsel Rick Roberts before the Perkins County Health Services Board of Directors regular meeting on Monday, June 20. The two women were elected in the May 2022 Primary to replace outgoing members Mary Jo Gengenbach and Richard Thurin. Also reelected was incumbent Jeff Skeels. Skeels took his oath of office during a special meeting of the board on Friday, June 17. Election of officers of the new board was also held on Monday morning with Skeels being elected as president, John Long elected as vice president, Dianne Harms elected as secretary and Wilson elected as treasurer.
