Oellermann memorial given to GVFD

A memorial in the name of Marion Oellermann was presented by her family to the Grant Volunteer Fire Department (GVFD) at their June 4 business meeting.

 The memorial will be combined with other memorial funds for the purpose of purchasing additional equipment for the department.

The name of Marion Oellermann will be engraved on the memorial plaque that is on public display in the GVFD meeting room as a tribute to this civic-minded individual.

Oellermann was the wife of Ervin Oellermann, a longtime member of the Grant Rural Fire Board, who served as vice president of the board.
