Celebrate Public Transit Week

Perkins County Public Transit will be celebrating Nebraska Public Transit Week April 9-13.

Proclaimed by Governor Pete Ricketts, Public Transit Week is a chance to get out and experience the benefits of public transportation in the community. It’s also an opportunity to show support for a public service that individuals and families across the state rely on each and every day.

Events for the week include:

Monday, April 9—Driver Appreciation Day. Thank your driver!

 Tuesday, April 10—Tour the bus in Venango, 10 a.m. to noon.

Wednesday, April 11—Tour the bus in Elsie, 10 a.m. to noon.

Thursday, April 12—Tour the bus in Madrid, 10 a.m. to noon.

The bus will be visiting each of the above communities, bringing refreshments and giving FREE rides around town.

Friday, April 13— Passenger Appreciation Day. All rides are FREE!
