Bullock property abated

Grant City Council voted 3-1 to move forward with the nuisance abatement of the Bullock property located at 740 Central Ave at their Oct. 24 meeting.
The action items on the agenda included two options: to accept a new resolution to rescind the previous nuisance resolution, or to abate the property.
Mayor Mike Wyatt explained that in order to keep moving forward, a decision would need to be made one way or the other.
Councilman Matt Greenwood made a motion to rescind the resolution that declared the property a nuisance in July. No second was received and the motion failed.
