Several Perkins County Health Services employees wore red on National Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb 3 to raise awareness for heart disease and stroke. According to the American Heart Association, heart disease and stroke cause one in three deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds.
