PCS hosts annual golf invitational April 22 PDF Print E-mail

It was a bit blustery, but overall a beautiful day for golf on April 22 when the Plainsmen hosted its own golf invite at Pheasant Run Golf Course.
The Perkins County boys golf squad finished runner-up behind Hitchcock County.
The Plainsmen had a team score of 375 while Hitchcock County won with a 363.
Leading PCS was senior Chase Miyamoto with a 90. Miyamoto shot a 43 on the front nine with a 47 on the back nine to earn third overall at the invite.
Tyler Thelander ended the day with a 93. Thelander shot a 46 on the front nine and a 47 on the back nine. Thelander finished seventh overall.
Third on the team was Brennan Toner, picking up a 95, cutting three strokes off of his back nine. He started the day with a 49 and ended the day with a 46, the best improvement of any Plainsmen on the day.
Austin Fay had a 97 (47-50) and Kaden Kammerer picked up a 130 (58-72).
