Train show coming to North Platte April 12-13 PDF Print E-mail

The Nebraska West Central Division of the National Model Railroad Assocation will hold its 20th annual train show in North Platte on April 12-13 at the D&N Event Center, 601 East Walker Road.
This year’s show will be open to the public on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults, $1 for children under 12 and free for children under five with a paid adult.
The show will feature operating train layouts with over 60 tables of model railroad and hobby equipment on sale from vendors. There will be bus tours of the Union Pacific yards on Saturday only for an additional fare.
The Nebraska West-Central division is a division of the National Model Railroad Association and the purpose of the show is to promote the hobby of model railroading. The division includes a portion of Nebraska west of Highway 183 and is headquartered in Sutherland.
