Cowboy Capital chorus elects leadership PDF Print E-mail

The Ogallala Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society has elected officers to lead them into 2014. Toby Hansen, the most esteemed elder member, installed these new leaders and reminded them that a singing nation is a happy nation. He said, “May you thrill to the caress of a barbershop chord so long as your senses have the power of perception.”
Mike Berry is now president, Roger Armstrong–secretary, Dr. Dale Wee–treasurer, Dave Mendyk–vice president of membership and chapter development, and Steve Schwartzkopf is vice president of music and performance. Bill Daly, Toby Hansen, and Norv Elmshaeuser are all members at large for this regional chorus.
The 11th annual spring show will be at the Ogallala High School auditorium on March 22. This year will feature 50s and 60s music and a possible Elvis sighting.
