This was a rematch from a game a week ago during the RPAC Conference tournament. The Lady Wildcats fought hard throughout the game but came up short on the final score, losing 40-50.
The home team fell behind early and struggled to catch up after the rough beginning. Junior Christina Daniels earned 19 points Friday night, leading both teams in scoring.

Defensively, the Wildcats held the Cardinals to seven points in the third quarter. Daniels again dominated under the basket and grabbed seven defensive rebounds, blocked two shots and stole the rock seven times. Teammate Maggie May also took the ball from the visiting team four times and blocked two Cardinal shots.
This week the Lady Wildcats (7-10) will end their regular season on the road against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (9-7) Thursday night and Hitchcock County (2-16) on Friday.
Coach Shannon Messersmith has seen growth through the season and commented, “A key to winning these last two regular season games is to play at a high level of intensity. We really need to focus on playing four full quarters!”
