Many improvements planned for Plainsman Inn

After purchasing the Plainsman Inn, Jason and Ashleigh Noyes jumped into making additions and improvements to the property with many more planned for the future.
The hotel has multiple functions, such as its namesake, a hotel, featuring seven rooms, but also features 27 RV stalls and 28 storage units.
Ashleigh reported that the RV lots are over half full, the hotel is currently full and the storage units are all full.
The first plan the Noyes have is to improve curb appeal by landscaping at the RV area. Eight trees have been planted already on the property with a fruit orchard planned.
“We’d like a community garden area for the RV people. No garden for those folks and our goal is to get them to feel at home,” Ashleigh said.
The couple said the RV park is a bona-fide attraction to Grant and they want to improve it to improve the community.
Jason explained that he has observed some of the people here for seasonal work wind up staying in Grant or moving because of the great atmosphere here.
“There is a lot of opportunity to bring business to town,” Jason said.
They have other plans for the business, including going to a key-card system at the hotel and will eventually refurbish the office.
A long-term goal of the couple is to ‘cater to everyone, locals or otherwise.’
