Come and enjoy a delightful mix of fun and laughter when Perkins County High School stages Phantom of the Op’ry for their annual fall musical.
The musical takes place on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m., with a second performance scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. in the high school multi-purpose room under the direction of Doug Babbitt and Judy Kurkowski.
About the Play
Phantom of the Op’ry takes the audience to the Grand City of Skunk Creek. The old owner, having put up with the opera house for years, has finally sold it to a new young owner from California.
The new owner shortly discovers that all the talk of ghosts and villains is not just the rampant imagination of a few.
As her cast arrives, the local workers are being knocked off faster than the wind in Nebraska.
All this spoof is centered around the local phantom who seems to want to run off all the new talent.
