Kraus represents Perkins County at state games PDF Print E-mail

Mark Kraus of Madrid was the top overall foosball player at the Cornhusker State Games competition in July, receiving first place in the singles division and 4-man team roto division.
Final participation numbers were still being tabulated as late entries trickled in, but Nebraska Sports Council executive director Dave Mlnarik said the early total of 12,186 was the highest since 2009.
“This was a great year in every way, thanks to our volunteers, “said Mlnarik.” “These people are so dedicated, and they understand the spirit of friendly competition and good sportsmanship, which makes the Cornhusker State Games unique and successful. We have some serious mojo heading into planning for 2014 and the 2015 State Games of America.”
