Tickets go on sale this Friday, Feb. 1 for the upcoming dinner theatre in mid-March.
With a crisp, funny dialog, “Nana’s Naughty Knickers” will be staged at Perkins County High School on March 15-16 following a full-course meal.
The evening of food and entertainment is sponsored by the Perkins County Area Arts Council with proceeds from the event going to the arts council and the high school’s drama department.
Under the direction of Dawnell Glunz, the six member cast has been practicing for the performance that promises both humor and action.
The one thing the arts council could still use help with is set construction; otherwise, everything is coming together, said arts council member Bernie Deaver of Deaver Computer where tickets will be sold. An organizational meeting on Tuesday was the final step in getting committees put together for the dinner and play.
Cast members include Sally Shiers, Jeanie Daiss, Rachel Patrick, Ben Polson, Al Proctor and Monica Poppe.
The cost for the full evening of enjoyment is $30, $32 or $34 per ticket for assigned seating; the cost is dependent on proximity to the stage. Tickets will be on sale this month only, from Feb. 1-28.
Dinner theatre goers will have a choice of entree on both nights of the event. The meal includes entree, salad, vegetable and dessert.
On Friday night, the choice is fish or pork. Saturday night’s offering is New York strip or chicken.
Make plans now for this enjoyable evening that will benefit two entities in Perkins County.
