Reese Appliance and Repair offering selection of GE products
By Jan Rahn
Consumers wishing to start the new year with brand new appliances need look no further than Reese Appliance and Repair in Grant.
A full line of GE appliances is available at the corner of 1st and Lincoln, with several models sitting on the showroom floor.
Having officially opened Reese Appliance in September, the business is located in the vicinity of where Jason Reese and his wife Adair Reese each house their other businesses—Jason owns Reese Mechanical, a heating and air company, and Adair owns AR Salon.
“We saw a need to bring appliances and repair back into Grant,” said Jason.
Repair technician Travis Jaeger will service all makes and models sold. Office manager Tara Nodlinski will assist customers when the business is open, weekdays and by appointment.
As a 1999 Grant High School graduate, Jason received his Bachelor’s Degree in applied sciences in HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning-refrigeration) from Southeast Community College in Milford and then worked in Boulder, Colo., for a year.
Upon moving back to Nebraska in 2001, he worked for Correll Refrigeration in Ogallala for five years and then for Johnson Controls for four years.
He purchased an existing heating and air business in Grant in February 2010. Adair worked for Farm Bureau prior to establishing her salon in June 2011.
The Reeses have two small children, Ava, seven, and five-year-old Alec.
They appreciate the support from the area. “We love the sense of community that Grant has and we want to support this wonderful town!” said Adair.
