The Sept. 10 Elsie/Madrid Community Blood Drive fell just shy of its goal according to coordinators Michele Cutler and Rosalie Curtis. A great number of donors showed up but quite a few were deferred for various reasons.
Donors were treated to a  meal prepared and served by the Elsie Altar Society.
The following volunteers donated their time and resources to help make it a productive day: Bill and Marian Robertson, Joan Harbeson, Jo Leonard, Lorraine Hanson and John Cutler.
