Someone wrote in last week’s paper that chastised Republicans for introducing bills that they know the Democrats will vote down. They do this to remind the voters where they stand in the upcoming election. And believe me, they do remember why.
Senator Reed in the Democratically controlled Senate will not even let his members have the chance to vote on such unpopular items as the “unaffordable health care act” because it might make them look bad back home for voting against the repeal.
If they do vote for repeal, then it would make President Obama look bad because he would veto the bill.
However, the Democrats offer bills that they know the Republicans won’t pass for the very same reasons.
This is nothing new.
