The official ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new Mid-Plains Community College Ogallala Extended Campus, 512 E. B Street, is set for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9.
Facility tours will begin at 11 a.m. with formal remarks taking place at 11:30 a.m. Neb. Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy is expected to be the keynote speaker.
Lunch will be served immediately following the program.
