A new visiting physician is now seeing ENT outpatients at Perkins County Health Services  on a monthly basis.
Philip Fitzpatrick, M.D. said his first day on May 1 went great. “It’s a wonderful facility with helpful staff,” said Fitzpatrick.
On the first Tuesday of each month, Dr. Fitzpatrick, who is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology,  will treat patients with ear, nose and throat problems in the specialty clinic.
He has been on active staff at Great Plains Regional Medical Center for the past 11 years as an ENT specialist.
“I love treating patients of all ages with problems of ear, nose and throat,” said Fitzpatrick. “It’s very rewarding.”
His practice includes all medical and surgical treatment aspects of ENT, especially snoring and sleep apnea in both children and adults, chronic ear and sinus infections, thyroid/parathyroid disorders and skin cancers of the head and neck.
Dr. Fitzpatrick was born and raised in New Orleans, where he remained for college, medical school and residency at Tulane University.
He received his M.D. degree in 1996 and completed a residency in otolaryngology in 2001.
His wife, Elaine Fitzpatrick, M.D., is also an ENT surgeon.
The doctors have four children, Kelly-14, Hannah-10, Molly-nine, and David-six.
In his free time, Dr. Fitzpatrick enjoys boating and sports with his family and playing golf.
