Winning a playoff for first place, Alex Johnston of Perkins County took the first place medal at the Perkins County golf invitational April 17, scoring a 78. Also scoring 78 was Jared Arensdorf of North Platte St. Patrick’s. Austin Thelander wasn’t far behind, scoring 81 and finishing fourth, winning a card playoff against Mitch Ferguson of St. Pat’s. As a team, Perkins County finished in second place, scoring 341. First place went to North Platte St. Pat’s, who had three golfers in the top 10, and scored 334.
