Shalee Pollard, senior at Perkins County High School, has signed on to play basketball for the Lady Knights of Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte.
Spring tryouts and registration was held March 26 at the college. Pollard has received a scholarship for tuition and books.
Lady Knights Head Coach Dick Thurin said,” I like her work ethic and I think she has a great attitude—that’s what I like.”
Shalee is excited to participate in her favorite sport in college and looks forward to the start of the season next fall.
