Event showcases latest in home improvement, design and landscaping.
The 37th Annual Nebraska Home and Builders Show returns to the Heartland Events Center at Fonner Park in Grand Island from Jan. 20–22. Patrons will enjoy a variety of exhibits and seminars showcasing the latest in home landscaping, building and remodeling products and services.
“Home improvement projects are always popular, but many homeowners don’t know when it’s best to do-it-yourself or hire a professional,” said Bill Jackson, producer of the show and president of West Des Moines-headquartered Jackson Expo Group. “The show features the most current products and services to help homeowners take on smaller projects themselves or to find a professional to take charge of the larger remodeling or renovation projects.”
Exhibitor displays will include such diverse products as remodeling materials, interior decoration, kitchens, appliances, flooring, garage doors, siding, landscaping ideas, windows, heating and air conditioning, water conditioning systems, and more.
In addition to exhibits, do-it-yourselfers will enjoy “How-To” seminars featuring a variety of expert presenters speaking on topics of interest to homeowners. Each seminar will be repeated several times during the three-day event.
“Seminars are a great way to get in-depth information about a specific project,” Jackson says. “These seminars give homeowners answers to a variety of questions they may have and the opportunity to check out the latest trends and technology for home improvements.”
The show is sponsored by the Central Nebraska Home Builders Association.
The show is open to the public Friday, Jan. 20 from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 22 from noon to 5 p.m.
