Burge is December’s Senior of the Month
Seth Burge has been selected as Senior of the Month for December 2011.
Throughout high school, Burge has contributed in many ways to the community and school through various activities.
He has participated in cross country, track and band all four years of high school.
He was selected to National Honor Society, has participated in student council and has been an honor roll student.
He has been active in FFA and 4-H.
His contributions to the community include various service projects through Perkins County Youth Council, Catholic and Lutheran Youth groups and Perkins County 4-H Council.
He has also assisted with election, served various dinners, coached youth sports and helped paint at the Perkins County Senior Center.
Aside from school activities and volunteer projects, Burge has been employed at the Burge Farms, City of Grant, owns his own mowing business and egg-producing chicken flock.
After graduation, Burge plans to attend college, and is undecided on a major at this point. He is considering agriculture or livestock management.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Burge’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and he will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
