Madrid receives bin for recycling PDF Print E-mail

Thanks to funding from the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation, the Nebraska Department of Environmental Quality, the Nebraska Environmental Trust and US Recycling, one household, two cardboard and two steel recycle bins have been placed for public use.
Madrid received a cardboard bin, and the steel bins are on rotation as needed by organizations such as Keep Keith County Beautiful, Brule Community Improvement Group and various others needing to recycle white goods (appliances) and other metals during clean up events.
Lake McConaughy residents will benefit from a household recycle bin that joins the existing cardboard bin at Van’s Lakeview and a cardboard bin was placed by Sand’s Edge.
