On Aug. 30, students, staff and community members welcomed Matt Davison as guest speaker at Wallace School.
Davison recounted events from his days of playing football for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and explained how he strove to excel on and off the field.
He applied that message to his audience and challenged students to become leaders within their school and to be prepared to make the right choice when it comes to life decisions.
Davison also sent the message that students need to be courageous and not be afraid to stand up to peer pressure and bullying.
