Thursday, Oct. 13, Frank Loomis: “Keep Antiquing!”
Antique collector Frank Loomis provides audiences with a unique and light hearted look into antiques and the eras that created them. His speaking style is lively, laced with anecdotes, often humorous and never boring.     Tuesday, April 3, 2012 Jennifer Thompson: “Picking Cotton.”
Co-author of the New York Times bestselling memoir, Picking Cotton, Jennifer Thompson was attacked at knife point by a man who broke into her apartment while she slept.
She was able to escape and eventually positively identified Ronald Cotton as her attacker. Ronald insisted he was innocent, but Jennifer’s positive ID was compelling enough evidence to put him behind bars.
Eleven years later, Ronald was allowed to take a DNA test that proved his innocence. He was released and two years later he and Jennifer met face-to-face and forged an unlikely friendship.
Tuesday, May 1, 2012 Allan Karl: “The Beginning at the End of the Road”
Drawing on his 20-year career as an entrepreneur combined with his inspiring three-year journey around the world, alone, on a motorcycle, Allan has the ability to engage, inspire and entertain audiences around the country with a message about travel, motivation, risk, confronting fear and the importance of pursuing dreams.
