An art exhibit from the Sheldon Museum will be on display at the McKinley Education Center in North Platte, 301 W. F Street, Wednesday, Sept. 28-Friday, Oct. 27. Visiting hours are M-F 9-5 or by appointment. The project is sponsored by NebraskaLand National Bank.
The exhibit comprises art from the Sheldon’s permanent collection, including a rich array of paintings, prints and photographs by artists such as Margo Humphrey, John Kane, Vik Muniz and Claes Oldenburg.
Commemorations: Art from the Sheldon Museum will provide an opportunity for everyone to explore the local historical markers, monuments and commemorative public art.
A public reception will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 6-7:30 p.m.
