Mission Festival of Trinity Lutheran Church to be held Sept. 18 PDF Print E-mail

Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS) will be the featured topic of the annual Mission Festival of Trinity Lutheran Church of rural Ogallala on Sunday, Sept. 18.
Jack Swanda of Omaha will make a presentation on the work of LFS across Nebraska at the 8:45 a.m. Bible Study and the 10 a.m. worship service.
Swanda is a lay member of St Mark’s Lutheran Church in Omaha. He has spoken at several Lutheran Family Services events over the years and loves telling the story of how LFS serves and touches the lives of so many Nebraskans.
Swanda is also a member of the Nebraska Radio Hall of Fame. He has been a radio broadcaster in Omaha for the past 28 years. He entered the field of financial services at PM Financial in 2004. Jack and his wife, Karen, were married in 1977 and have three daughters and one son-in-law.
LFS is a statewide organization, currently serving 78 of 93 counties–touching the lives of one out of every 50 Nebraskans each year. LFS has offices in North Platte, McCook, Lexington, and Cozad.
The organization focuses on three core competencies: Behavioral Health, Children Services, and Community Service, or new communities. More information about LFS is available online at www.lfsneb.org.
