Trinity Church History
With its church building located between Grant and Ogallala, the congregation is a member organization of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
Trinity Lutheran Church was founded in 1886 by primarily German immigrants. Several visiting Lutheran missionaries and pastors served the congregations for several years. In early years, the attending pastor was shared with St. John Lutheran Church of Ogallala.
Trinity called its own pastor in 1921. Trinity also maintained a parochial school until 1966. Trinity has also collaborated with Zion Lutheran Church in Grant, sharing a pastor for a period of time and coordinating various activities together. Pastor Wayne Pick currently serves Trinity as Pastor of the congregation.
