Kudos to Wallace High School sports
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to The Grant Tribune-Sentinel, sport writer Christy Sheets, and photographer, Nora Jameson, for coverage of the Wallace High School girls basketball and volleyball programs for the past several years.
As we were unable to get adequate coverage of these two sports in our local paper, your coverage was extremely appreciated. It was complete, concise and enabled us to keep abreast of these sports.
Our granddaughter, Katelynn Hild, played on the girls volleyball and basketball teams. If we were unable to travel to out-of-town games, your coverage kept us up-to-date when we could not attend.
We appreciate the Wallace High School athletic department and especially Jennifer Koop, girls basketball coach, and Kory Rohde, girls volleyball coach. Their expertise in coaching the Wallace girls has enabled them to excel in these sports and Coach Rohde led the Wallace girls volleyball team to State playoffs two years in a row!
As Katelynn graduated from Wallace High School this year, we will not be attending games as in the past. But, we will look forward to reading the news about the teams in The Grant Tribune-Sentinel.
“Thanks for the Memories.”
Roy and Lily Hild
