|Southwest Nebraska RC&D to hold banquet|
Southwest Nebraska Resource Conservation and Development would like to invite everyone to their annual banquet Tuesday, Nov. 16 at the Chief Motel Poolside area (612 West B, McCook) at 6 p.m. CT. The theme for the evening will be “Innovators.”
Southwest RC&D recognizes the projects completed in the area would not happen without the Innovators who foster, and facilitate each one. These people are the core of SW RC&D.
The keynote speaker for the evening will be Weldon Sleight from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
Projects from 2010 will be highlighted including Household Hazardous Waste, Republican River Restoration Partnership, Save Our Swanson, Tire Collections in Furnas County and Southwest Weed Management. Tim Smith will be the emcee.
