Trail ride benefit is Oct. 9-10 near Halsey PDF Print E-mail

Early bird registrations due Sept. 24

 

The 4-H annual trail ride benefit is planned for Oct. 9-10 near Halsey.

Meals, activities and live entertainment are included in the weekend’s activities at the Nebraska State 4-H Camp.

Youth riders age 12 and under must have a parent or guardian accompany them on the ride. Youth must be in the care of an adult on the trail ride and during all activities.

Sack lunches are available for purchase for Saturday and Sunday noon meals. 

Certified hay will be available to purchase at the site. Panel pens will be provided for participants to divide horses into small groups.

Cars, horse trailers and campers can be parked near the State 4-H Camp. 

Accommodations are also available at the camp, or participants can register at nearby motels.

Saturday evening will feature a steak fry with live entertainment.

Early bird registrations are due before Sept. 24. The price increases after the 24th and spaces may be limited.
