|Leadership seminar offered in Curtis during November|
Looking for committed leaders to address the issues facing rural Nebraska and create a new vision for our communities. Register by Oct. 15.

In cooperation with the University of Nebraska Extension, entities in Perkins and surrounding counties are hosting a leadership seminar in Curtis during November.
Several topics will be covered for individuals interested in strengthening rural communities by stimulating creativity, wealth, education and business.
The focus of the Nov. 16-18 seminar is to provide knowledge and skills to enable individuals to take leadership roles in this effort.
A registration fee of $150 covers speaker expenses and program materials. The two-day seminar takes place at the Curtis Community Center and Winfield Inn.
Scholarships may be available from the local communities of Chase, Perkins, Dundy and Keith counties who are joining the effort to develop community leaders, along with Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corporation and Personal Horizons Consulting. Some employers may also choose to provide scholarships.
