|New day care in Grant offers flexible hours|
By Shari Friedel
A brand new day care, The Tot Spot, has recently cropped up in Grant, owned and operated by Natasha (Kraus) Hamilton, a Grant High School graduate who has returned to Perkins County after spending some time in England.
Natasha feels that what sets her services apart from others is her flexibility, as she is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
She feels she can fill a needed niche by offering drop-in spots and flexible hours for parents needing child care on short notice.
She operates the business from her home on Grant’s main street, which she shares with husband Joe, and nine-month-old daughter Jessa.
Joe, who Natasha met at a world championship foosball tournament in Las Vegas, is a native of England. He describes Grant as “just a little bit different” than his home town of Bristol, a city comparable in population to Omaha, and about two hours from London.
While awaiting state licensing, Natasha is limited to four children in addition to her own, but hopes to expand as licensing is approved in the near future. She is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
Her goal for her new business is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for children through such activities as arts and crafts, free play, structured play, music, and song and dance as well as outdoor activity in her large fenced back yard. She will also incorporate a preschool curriculum as fall approaches and the demand grows in that particular age group.
She offers full and part time care with different payment plans, and is available for overnight stays as well as weekends.
Natasha invites interested parents to visit her website for more information at www.thetotspotne.com or call her at 308-352-2320.
