Lions Club members receive honors PDF Print E-mail

The Grant Lions Club honored Lion Bernard Kuskie as “Lion of the Year” and named him as the recipient of the “Melvin Jones Fellowship” award. The MJF award is given to individuals in recognition of donations to Lions Clubs International Foundation. Such a contribution illustrates a significant commitment to humanitarian service and allows LCIF to perform such miracles as preserving sight, combating disability, promoting health, and providing disaster relief. Lion Kuskie joins 10 Grant Lions who have received the prestigious award: Leland Thomas, Betty Thomas, Wayne Parish-deceased, Joe Lawlor-deceased, Henry Stumpf-deceased, Bill Daiss-deceased, Ronald Cochran, Milford Nodlinski, Harold Hermann-deceased, and Ron Patrick.
