Perkins County qualifies 11 for state track meet PDF Print E-mail

Six new school records were set by Perkins County tracksters during the district competition. 

The Perkins County girls finished the 2010 season undefeated, winning the district meet on Thursday, May 13 with a score of 125.5—well ahead of second place finisher Bayard, who scored 93.5.

Placing third was Kimball with 83 points, Gordon/Rushville was fourth with 77. Morrill finished in fifth place with 57; Bridgeport and Hemingford tied for sixth with 39 each. Garden County finished in eighth place with a score of 9.
