Wallace Wildcats participate in conference meet at Cambridge PDF Print E-mail

On Friday, April 30, the Walace Wildcats travelled to Cambridge for the 2010 Republican Plains Activities Conference (RPAC) track meet.   

All 14 conference schools competed, including:  Arapahoe, Alma, Bertrand, Cambridge, Dundy County Stratton  (DCS), Hayes Center, Hitchcock Co., Maywood, Medicine Valley (MV), Paxton, Southern Valley (SV), Southwest, Wallace, and Wauneta-Palisade (WP).  

The competition was tough.  DCS won the girls championship with 90 points, followed by Southern Valley (81) and Bertrand (72).  

The Wallace girls finished 13th with eight points. Bertrand won the boys championship with 107 points, followed by Cambridge (101) and Alma (75.5).  

The Wallace boys finished eighth with 37 points.  The top eight places in each event were scored.
